Imagine my surprise as I lay in my hospital bed, still 'goofy' from surgery, when a woman walked in and said I had a FedEx. Opening the box I discovered that Nuther Dave (TJD241) had sent me some magazines and a super cool Corvette slot car and a battery to keep me amused. Before I could spin the wheels in both directions, in walks another person with a big bunch of roses from Willie, King Mike, Joez, Coach, 'Nother, Boss, Split, R.R and Bobzilla (aka the 'Chat gang'). You made this Baby Boomer's (who was raised not to show emotions) eyes well up. I just hope that some day you can all experience the joy these RAOK brought me.
THANKS A BUNCH, GUYS!

PS And thanks to the rest of you for your kind words before surgery.

PSS Ok, now fess up. Who among you is the super sleuth? I don't recall mentioning which hospital I would be in. Of course, this could be the drugs (legal, of course) affecting my brain. :freak:

Ha ha! gotcha Win. Glad yer home and safe!

Teehee my accomplice was none other than... he'll chime in soon enough.

Sherlock and me tracked your a$$ based on the fact that you said Harrison Hospital in Chat. We tracked you down using old fashioned deduction and state of the art technology.

Great to have you back Jerry!

A simple phone call to Harrison yielded the info we needed. Almost sent it all to Silverdale too, but the nice lady on the phone said "oh honey... they don't do that type of surgery here....he's gonna be over in Bremerton."..... So, there you have it!!!

I'm glad you got a rise out of the package and hope you were a little less bored. (also glad Leo the janitor didn't end up with it!!!)... Boredom was the worst part of the times I've been stuck in the hosp. I used to make my own bed I was so bored in there. I even got caught getting on the elevator trying to go to the gift shop downstairs... I told the nurse "well you told me to get up and walk a few times a day"... let's just say she was not amused and I was watched like a hawk for the rest of my stay.lol

Win, we all hope you're a little better every day. We enjoy the company of ALL of our friends on chat night.

cya then?.... nd

Ok, so you had to stay at the hospital a bit.
Since you were sent home, we can expect a full recovery?
The nurses were nice to look at, yeah?
We are glad you are back among the slotting!
