I have a couple police 5 packs from last year (the one with the beetle, crown vic, camaro, tahoe and swat van) and in one of those sets, the camaro has red windows. Anyone know what the deal is????? I could post pics if needed.

Here are some photos. I have 6 sets of the one with the normal smoked/tinted windows, and have seen dozens more like it, but I have never seen one other than this one with red windows.

This is just a variation. It was not a chase vehicle. The mix was about 50-50.

50-50? Like I say, I've seen 20 or more, and this is the only one with red windows Ive seen.

It depends on which sets were sent to which stores. Where I am, the red windows were so much easier to find than the smoke. Toys R Us were overloaded with reds.

:) :D :p

This sounds like a while ago with the burger zone 5-pack having a black '69 Camaro. Some had hideaway lights and others didn't. Seems like there was less with the hideaways.

The same distribution was true here. I do not know the distribution overall on these.

They were 2 different MAN (Manufacture) numbers as well. Although the Exposed headlight model was a modification of the hidden light model.

Exposed Headlights was MAN#629 dated 2003 Tool # 6900
Hidden Headlights was MAN#608 from the earlier in the same year Tool#6001
Scale on these is 1:62.
