I find HW's errors all the time but this weekend I finally found my first MB errors.
Picked up a Herse thats just gloss black on the sides, missing all the door handle/trim tampos that are normally on it in silver.
Also picked up a taxi and it's missing all it's tampos but the one on the roof that says taxi. :woohoo:

I always find uspside-down error MB's...seriously, I find them almost every time I go out to my local Wally. They are mostly found in five-packs though.

I was under the impression that MB errors weren't nearly as hard to find as HW errors. Am I wrong?

I have found funny lookin MB cars at weird angles. I found one that had part of it with no paint but didnt get it cause i thought MB errors werent worth anything

I collect errors but only physical errors. Missed tampo, unassembled, wrong or missing parts, mis painted or damaged models as long as they are still un opened. Upside down and backwards seem pretty plentiful in both ranges also mis packaged models are pretty common in both.

My Favorite one is a Matchbox Tailgator Challenge car with matchbox front and Hot Wheel rear wheels.

That is an interesting question. It would make for a great custom!

Are they made at the same diecast factory somewhere in Asia?

Even if they were, it would obviously be in two different lines, and probably even two whole different sections of the factory. That error must have been a human error.

Here is the error. Not sure how it got mixed up but I know somewhere I have Hot Wheel models with Matchbox wheels too. I added a few others I had in the same box.
