This is a 1932 Packard Light 8 made by Brooklin. It is model #6, so it's an early Brooklin from about 1975. Sorry for the bad lightning, I'm was too tired to do the pics over. :(

This is model 6a (top down) version of the 1932 Packard Light 8 made by Brooklin. I can't remember what year the 6a was introduced.

Funny, but the windshield insert fell inside the interior of the car and I didn't notice it until I was putting it back in the display.

Lummox, the Pocher models that we talked about reminded me of this style of car from the '30's.

Sorry if no one likes them.

Very elegant cars, especially convertible!

Brooklin models have a look of there own. You'd never confuse one for any other brand.
To me they look like an artists interpretation of the car being replicated if that makes any sense.
That being said, Brooklins style of replication lends itself best to cars from the '30s.
Very handsome, I like these Packards a lot.

Stutz ~ do you know if that Packard is a Brewster bodied car?
The way the grill swoops outward and points is a Brewster trademark.
I really like the solid wheels on these. VERY realistic!

I sure appreciate all the time you spend sharing photos and knowledge of your collection with us!!!!

Thanks for the nice comment Lummox.

As for the Packard being a Brewster bodied car, I honestly don't know. I'll try to do a search.
Here's a link for Brewster bodied cars Lummox. I remember seeing a car in a Car Museum similar to the '34-'35 Ford with the cat's eye headlights. They look like a wild custom from the '30's!

And for the wheels being solid, they are. They only thing that isn't metal on the car are the tires and windshield insert. All ornaments (door handles, trunk handle, added trim, windshield, antenna, mirrors, etc.) on later Brooklins are all metal.
