There will be a 1/4 Scale and Nitro .09, and .12 race on Sept.29th at the new 1/4 midget track at Lanier raceway in Braselton Georgia. This is a high banked concrete track that is 1/20 mile long. Not sure of the length in feet 400' or so. I ran the track tonight with my .09 1/10 scale nitro and it was fast and fun. They would love to have anyone that wants to run. For mor info see the 1/4 scale thread under OVAL RACING. Jeff is the man to talk to. Bring your own transponders and a generator. They have not finished with power hookups yet. Plenty Plenty of parking for tents and trailers. Here is a link to the track site. www.maqma.org

Good looking track! Is that right outside turn one at Lanier Speedway? Hope north Ga. can get a R/C race track going again. 1/20th mile is 264 feet by my math.

I agree. The web site said 1/20th of mile but its actually a lot longer than that. Its at least 400'. It may be a miss print on there web site.

As far as I know all QMA sanctioned 1/4 midget racing is done on 1/20 mile tracks.
