JB I put this here seeing as your section is locked.

...GASGAR? That's the second biggest joke going. They are Using ROAR and NORRCA rules. Well, I am not aware that ROAR had any rules for Nitro oval racing and I was the one that wrote the rules that NORRCA used. ARCOR then adopted those rules. The .09 class was a good class, until the hot dogs got into it...

Nice.

As far as bashing GASCAR, have you ever been to one of GASCAR's races? I doubt it. I do know about the conversation you had with Tim and him telling you to show up with your "laydown" engine and come race, but yet you were a no-show.

On the .09's, don't even think for a SECOND that GASCAR has anything to do with any of that stuff going on with them, we do not have a .09 following so get your facts straight.

And no we ROAR does not have a NITRO-PAN class. WE use ROAR rules for chassis dimensions and body approval. As far as using a now defunct NORCCA set of rules I am not sure. But really what is wrong with taking rules from different organizations and implementing for the classes that you wish to create? Are you going to tell me you had 100% original rules in ARCOR? I doubt that.

JB, I do wish you well in your life, but with you making these posts it all sounds like sour grapes.

Sign me,

PROUD GASCAR RACER and PARTICIPANT IN THE FIRST EVER NITRO PAN NATIONAL.

there is something to be said about walking away with your head up, or exiting gracefully. Congrats JB on failing at both. It must be hard to walk with one foot in your mouth. Based on your opinions, I wonder how you made it this long. The sad part is I had a good time the 5 different times I raced at an ARCOR event. We all know you did a lot of work for oval, but honestly, some of your opinions are way off base. There are dozens of reasons why Oval racing is not what it used to be. Does it really help to point fingers at the people who REALLY make oval racing possible? The racers? Oh, that reminds me, no one asked you to give hard luck awards, combined event awards, best arcor racer awards, cookies, brownies, cup cakes whatever. They were greatly appreciated, but still throwing that back at all of us was out of line. You should remember the racers made it possible. Thats right, we, as racers used our vacation time, spent god knows how much money to come race at something you promoted. This is the thanks we get. Because only a handful of people wanted to race in one of the 17 spec classes you dreamed up. There is nothing wrong with any spec class, but its not for everyone. I will tell you what in my humble opinion is killing oval racing, or racing organizations in general. Closed minded people.

Hank didn't delete the ARCOR Threads, I did. But Hank can delete the ARCOR altogether.:)

Beero: Thank you for your support it IS/WAS appreciated. I guess you are right, no one made me offer the extras. But I did and if asking for little acknowledgment was a crime. I am guilty. All I was trying to do is offer those little "extras". AS for the the 17 spec classes I dreamed up, you are off base on that one. But again, if trying to watch out for the average Joe racer, give him a place to race in a National event, was a crime, again I am guilty.

Yes, the racers are what make a race, but you guys better think about something more important, the track you race at. Without them and there investment in time and cash, where would you play with your little toys? When I see a post and see all the sponsors listed, I NEVER see a track listed.

Anyway, there are many I will miss, the Herbies, the Jim's, the Al's, the Ricks, etc. They know who they are. They are the salt of the hobby.:) To them GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE, you guys will need it.
