That's the only thing I can think of that would make them do all of these variations instead of just a clear or plain smoke for any of them. :freak: rr 22tall 09-21-2007, 07:02 PM The random packaging and glass thing are the two reasons I no longer "buy them all". Averaged more than 80 cars per release of AW cars. That has dropped to five cars for this release. Four if you don't count the el camino I am giving to a friend. He has that model up on blocks in his garage. On the plus side I can catch up on Life Like cars, get a couple dozen Scalemaster GT40's and work on completing my Tyco collection. micyou03 09-21-2007, 08:48 PM I think the smoke grey looks the best on any of the cars. When I get my cars if I don't like the glass color I can always paint it black and it will look good. roadrner 09-21-2007, 09:04 PM I think the smoke grey looks the best on any of the cars. Red windshields, who'd of thunk it? :freak: rr AfxToo 09-21-2007, 11:45 PM I got both colors of the El Caminos, Cobras, and Suburbans. The wheel well spacing is outstanding on these. The Suburbans are plain as-is and are begging for some sort of customization, maybe as race or cycle support vehicles or vintage service vehicles. sethndaddy 09-21-2007, 11:59 PM I love the option of getting colored windshields, I thought the red were great. micyou03 09-22-2007, 09:58 AM I like in this order smoke, black, and clear, and I don't mind the blue so much, but green or red just doesn't look good to me. AfxToo 09-23-2007, 10:32 AM I've been selectively painting the inside of the glass with black or dark gray Faskolor (Parma) paint designed for lexan bodies. I started doing this back with the pullbacks. I like the #84 stock car body for racing and with blacked out windows some of the uglier colors like lime green and pink actually come out looking pretty decent and more racy. Make sure you clean the glass first. I use a brush. micyou03 09-23-2007, 08:34 PM I've been selectively painting the inside of the glass with black or dark gray Faskolor (Parma) paint designed for lexan bodies. I've been removing the glass and spraying it from the outside. I have water based acrylic that I buy at Michael's that will be perfect for this, and I could easily remove it if I want to at any time. Now, I need another lime #84 Stocker and a lime Grand National. WesJY 09-23-2007, 11:58 PM Awsome idea!!! Thanks.
