Well it is that time again a new thread and a new season will be starting soon . Our Opener will be on Sept 29 , with doors open at 1pm and racing at 6pm

The track will be open from 6pm to 10 pm on Thursdays for practice

what is a good setup for the track? like tires, springs, shock oil, etc?

i beleive the common tire setup is whites on left and black or silver RF and gray/white RR , As for springs there are many diff setups depending on the driver

woo hoo t-minus 1 week. I have the Hammer Racing 76B Nastruck all painted and the 76 Pro Sportsman will be done Saturday or Sunday.

Kascar No Changes,
Pro Sportsman Same Rules as 06-07 except 4200 batteries max
Nastruck same as 06-07 except 3800 batteries max & motor green machine with a spec brush, no drilling, timing or slotting allowed
I think we are allowed to have a open rear in Pro Sportsman at least last year we were and I have not heard anything changing that
Perhaps The Pres will give as a complete run down of the 07-08 rules

Ok its tuesday what are the offical rule changes for the new year? Are the sportsman motors still handouts or are we getting our own? Is the battery limit up to 3800 or staying at 3300? Should be there sat.

We will take of you Wade. and as for kastruck for rules will be pretty much the same i beleive that the motors can be bought or can be borrowed from the track on race nite, As for batteries they are going to the 3800 and the Pro and Pro sportsman will be running 4200.

Hey cool. I will try and stop by. I am in Mooers and have been to the track a couple of times and it hasnt been open. I am looking forward to meeting some local folks that are into RCing.

Sounds like we are going to have a great season opener, can't wait for saturday.

Sorry Srcooloose not much happening during the summer . but we will be open Thursday Nites(6-10pm) for practice and Saturday (1pm and racing at 6 pm)for the season opener. Hope to see alot of old faces and hopfully some new ones.

Races were good, except for the battery that burst. I think everyone had a good time.

Is race time 6 or reg cut off 6? Can I perreg on thursday? I would probably be late.

Hey Cory on those brushes in the GM3's don't exept big numbers , we are detuning the motors with those brushes.

I like the idea of the spec motor in the trucks. Once you start playing with brushes you could just go up to sportsman.
