I just wish we were located a little closer to ya, as I am sure that Jamie and I would be spending lots of prime time at your tracks. Our racing with you and the gang at the outdoor Worlds this summer has given us lots of great memories, and I hope that we can get get back to mid-Ohio to race with ya again in the future. Your the best Freddie, ENJOY !!! Jim
Freddie's Hobbies 09-19-2007, 04:27 PM Thanks Jim, Just because ARCOR disappeared, doesn't mean we will not be holding the Freddie's Worlds in July. The race will go one and just be better and better with each year. For those who are wondering, yes we can do the staggered starts now :) see things evolve. You thought last years door prizes were good wait until you see 2008 prizes ? :woohoo:
Racing Raider 09-20-2007, 11:30 AM Sounds good freddie. I cann't wait to back and have some pops with my buddies.

Freddie: I am super pleased to hear you will have the race again next year. I am sure now that the ARCOR name is not connected you will have those 150 racers you hoped for! I just hope that BSR remembers to send prizes next year. Shame to put a sponsors name on a plaque and get nothing in return!

we held the ARCOR Worlds here, BSR was listed as a sponsor and between all of what was going on I never got anything to hand out ? no biggy I am sure John will make it up to us next year. But since then JB and her husband decided to start enjoying life and hung up ARCOR. We will still hold the Worlds here in July, just we need to tech our own things now. Freddie's Hobbies 09-22-2007, 08:37 AM Just a little notice. As many know we race 1/4 scales on Saturday. This Sunday Dave, my friend who help build the track will be out with his 1/8 scale nitro F-1 car. We want to try to build a class for next year, If you want to check it out he will be out tomorrow.
As for the starting time, It will be noon as always. It worked for 4 years why change a good thing

That would be interesting if there was a roadcourse available...... F1 cars have no place on an oval........
Besides, Dave will sell his in a few months, just like the quarter scale.

tight off 09-22-2007, 04:40 PM negative,negative,negative-"fi"-"indycar" in rc it's the same thing.go fast open wheel on a banked oval could be a hoot.last time i looked it's working in the "irl".i don't know much about the tharv virus but for the sake of this hobby i hope they find a cure.
iroczcec 09-22-2007, 07:49 PM the tharv virus huh? i think thats what i have been catching at the track every once in awhile and passing and passing and passing on by it! :woohoo:

I don't care what its in F1 and indy car are NOT the same, to even say so shows that you must be a nascar fan.
Hey Cec just remember a virus can really SLAM you when your not expecting it. :p
iroczcec 09-22-2007, 09:08 PM i know just had to add my .02 for sh%ts and giggles

Not sure who you are, but you should probably know something about someone before you start calling them a virus? I've been around this hobby for a long time & support all that's good in it, what little there is anymore. I stated my opinion. Pretty sure I'm entitled to do so. If you have a problem with it, take it up with me personally before you start running your mouth, and calling me a virus.
All the BS I've had to listen to about how pan cars are "just like NASCAR" (even though they're not even close), wouldn't the same apply for an F1 car?? And it IS an F1 car we're talking about. F1 doesn't have an oval track on it's schedule, but NASCAR has road course races on it's schedule. Hmmmmm.... why are we not running our pan cars on road course tracks? Besides, what difference does it make what car you drive around in a circle? It's still a circle.......
THAT was my point........ not being negative, just realistic.
tharv 09-23-2007, 01:52 AM you know maybe you should get one of those f1's your pretty good at drive road course on a oval you know :woohoo:
