Try some Buggy step pins, move the wing back so the leading edge is at the front cross bar, battrie pack in the tail tank area not in the front or under the hood. Soft springs all the way around.
Slick dry is going to be a problem for ya, my track is the same when it's dry so we run at night, the moisture comes back up to the surface and makes for awesome racing!

...it's a sprint car - MORE STAGGER - MORE BRAKE and Dirt Track it into the corner...

How do you fix the tight in, loose off condition?

It's loose off because of the tight in condition, entering a turn involves the right front more than any other tire, use a tire with more bite and a tick stiffer spring to keep it from rolling too much and unloading the left rear.

The Jet is pretty much on the money. When your trying to fix any handling problem you MUST attack it in certain ways. 1st you must fix your entry, 2nd fix the center, 3rd fix off. This is the way its done in real race cars and since you r/c car is a real race car to you, it should be done this way.!!!!

PLUS remember to only change one thing at a time or you will never know or learn what made the problem better or worse. GOOD LUCK!!!

TOME57: Are you racing at a particular track or just for fun? Biggest thing most people forget to do with nitro DO cars is run no drag brake, you def want the car to slow when you drop the gas, not just free roll.

Shoot some more details and that will help alot.

These are all great tips.

The car is box stock except I have 1 degree rear toe.
Arnie - any set tips as far as castor blocks, and front and rear camber link locations? Would on center king pins help on either side?

On ctr. king pins will make the car turn in even better. although you will get even looser in.

Adjusting the brake helped a lot. Tires ( rubber or foam ) don't make a difference.

Springs make a difference. When you watch the car the weight should shift to the front going into the corner, and when you get on the gas the front should start coming up and the weight goes to the rear.
