30 years later. Wife's trying to get her into the Red Sox while I'm playing the Star Wars soundtrack when she's in her crib. Who do you think will win?
Not that it's a competition. I'd like it if she got into baseball. It would be something more socially acceptable but if she and I could watch Star Wars together when she's older, that would be cool!

Cool pics - you were like me as a kid, ugly! :)
Is that a Bantha in the background? Not a very hairy one...Tatooine Hairless?
PS We're working on one of them critters you got in your arm, too. Wish me luck, I'm {deleted}!

I wasn't ugly but my mother dressed me that way. Nah, I was homely. Still am somewhat.
That's a Clydesdale horse in the background.

Hey, it's all good wahtever she gets into! The Dutchess is well into Star Wars, Transformers (G-1 of course, & Beats Wars), crafts, model building, Mythbusters, My Little Pony & a touch of sports- baseball & soccer. She loves gardening & wants to be an "animal rescuer" when she grows up! Don't fret, dude. Just by virtue of osmossis she'll pick up on some things that you like!
Man, kids are so cool! :D
Oh, & to harken back to the old days, while visiting back home, I found a photo that I took of my "South Bend" Enterprise toy I apparently got for my 10th birthday! In the corner of the photo it has a date that says "Jan 80". More proof I was a geek back then! I'll have to scan & post it.

When my first was born, I would sing the 'Imperial March' as I rocked him or bounced him on my knee.
Today, I say to him that theres more to life than Star Wars.........
Theres also......Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Space 1999, Starblazers......
