I see that the new release of the BJ's doesn't have a painted base or the white stripe for the number. Is Green Light starting to cut cost already? I hope not. The cars look awesome as always.

I noticed this as well. When I first read your post, I thought to myself no big deal as long as the chassis is still numbered. But now that I have the cars in hand, I will admit that the cars have lost some of thier appeal because of this change. I hope this is not something to be seen on all cars to come. It also seems as if the Series 3 cars are produced in even greater nimbers then before. Although, I cannot confirm the production numbers with this set.

As much as I hate to say it, it seems quality has gone downhill with the increased production on both the BJ & Corvette R2. :( Especially when both of my late 60's Vettes from BJ R2 & Corvette R2 have the rear wheels drilled wrong on the baseplates. :drunk:

Thats no good. They are made in the same plant as JL's are. Maybe they are slacking or pushing out too many cars for the QC they had in place

I agree with this statement. When quantity takes over for quality, things tend to go downhill. I'm hoping Greenlight also understands this and does not allow the mighty "Green" dollar over rule the the mighty "Green" machines!

Past Green Machines didnt have green chassis . Only the specials - like Reno Diecast cars had green chassis ... I dont like the bare metal chassis either ! Takes away from the realistic look of the cars ...

I liked it better on the 5k runs. Way better detail not many flaws
