Yep, got it yesterday. :) I plan on using the RB Break-in method with one difference, keep the engine at around 200. Takes about 9 tanks. I'll start that tomorrow.

russo11218 09-13-2007, 08:15 PM hey guy's, I was woundering does anyone know the facotory low end needle setting for the v-spec ? I was looking at the manual and it only gives a 3 turn needle setting for the high end(pictured in the book) doesn't metion low at all.I just wanted to check my needle settings. i wanted to finsh up the break in hopefully after work .So,far i have about 4 -3 min heat cycles at 200-214 deg .I am thinking 4 more should be good ?bert
nondriver 09-13-2007, 08:20 PM i would suddest some 1.1mm springs with some alluminum shoes for the firat week at the track then 1.0mm after the first gallon of racing come over and talk to me about the pipe choice when you getr ther sat

Bert, I'm sure others will chime in, but if you go flush with the LSN you'll be safe. I can't think of many motors that you don't start flush.
