i would like to see if anyone eles wants to do a little vintage off road racing
the date will be sept 29, 2007
this will be run on a regular race day, so if entries are light we would be run with regular classes.
now here are some rules to keep this thing as cheep as possible.
will run stock motors current or old
batteries anything 7.2v nicd or nihm
tires again old or new.
radios, servos, speed controls and personal transponders are open to new stuff also.
no brushless or lipos , trying to keep it equal and fair.
the reason for the rules is so it does not get out of hand, this is purely about having fun running the old cars we all started with , enjoyed and got us into this wonderfull hobby.
the vehicles have to be 80's early 90's

kyosho optima series , optima mids, ultima sereis
rc10 and rc10t losi jrx2, jrxt, lxt
schumacher cat, and there 4wd car( can remeber the name)
yokomo yz10, dogfighter
tamiya bigwig, boomerange, egrersse
tamiya hornet, grasshoper, frog, fox, falcone
now i know the tamiya have been re- released and all but this should not pose an issue.
i know i forgot alot on the list but you get the idea.
anyways i figures i would throw this up heer and see if anyone eles wants to enjoy there old days , runnign the old cars that are sitting collecting dust.
me i will be there running my old optima, enjoying the old days and letting the kids see the old stuff in action
