I finally got around to hooking up speakers for use with LapTimer 2000.

I have it set for engine lapping sounds but only get an engine sound the first lap. After that, it's just a video game sounding set of beeps (not the single beep) on subsequent laps.

Is there something wrong somewhere in the program or is this normal? I was expecting engine sounds on every pass.

I haven't investigated the settings, but I get an engine sound on first pass, then engine sounds on each subsequent pass, unless I set a new best lap time, and it is then that I get the video game beeps.

Sounds to me like your software might be working fine, and you just keep getting faster and faster on each lap!! :)

LOL....I think you hit the nail on the head. That never crossed my mind.

Just for simple testing purposes I turned on the track and never reset the voltage from when the kids were running it over the weekend. Although the car was running slower than what I would normally go, I bet you're right!
