Comparsing photos. as requested from SMS88.
Matchbox Vs. Morestone/Budgie. I think they are very close in quality, only the rear end of the Morestone falls through.

They compare well and could both sit together on the same railway layout without looking out of place
The Morestone is based on a newer model of the Bedford. In its production life the doors and door windows, plus front screens/later 1 screen all got much larger to improve visibility, and the wheelebase also increased the same time as the one peice windscreen was fitted.Lesneys did a superb job with the first Bedford CA in Dunlop form ,although the windscreen doesnt look right on the other two.The Morestone also looks good ,apart from the back but casting in AA prevented all other sponsers names from appearing on this popular 1960s delivery van.Corgi Lledo trackside has the final version of this Bedford design in its 1/76 range, a very fine model which is out in many different liveries

Hi Karl - I have just looked at my 3 Lesney issues in my hand - your photos being larger than life show the evening news van as having much squarer front windows with a thicker dividing bar than the Dunlop van, with the milk float in between. The difference is much harder to notice on the castings in my hand but I can still perceive it. The interesting thing is that although Lesney may have used the same working source drawings for these 3 the tools are all slightly different around the common front area
