I am pleased to announce that M-40 Raceway, located in Gobles, MI, will host another race on October 6th 2007. We will run the following classes:
1/10th Electric Stadium Truck
1/10th Electric 2wd Buggy
1/10th Electric 4wd Buggy
1/10th Nitro Stadium Truck
Monster Truck
1/8th Buggy
1/8th Truggy

*Note: Classes might be combined if minimal participation

Entree fee is $20 for all 1/8th scale classes.
Entree fee is $10 for all non-1/8th scale classes.
Entree fee $5 for each additional class. (1/8th scale excluded)

Schedule:
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Practice
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Track Maintenance
12:30 PM Drivers Meeting
1:00 PM Start Racing


The cash pay-out will be 50% of the entree fees of the racing class. Depending on the participation in the class, up to 3rd place could get paid.

The entree fee for 1/8th scale classes has been increased to $20 to increase the pay-out.

Besides the race on 10/06/2007, we will also have a swap meet. Bring all the rc stuff you want to trade or sell!

Seems like we might be a little tite on time? U might want to think about moving the start time ahead?

We'll run a nice and tight schedule, just like last time. This time we will start on time and we should be done by 6 PM, or at least before we start losing light.

Does your system support personal transponders? Is there power? Can it run an air compressor? How many 1/8 buggys do you think will show?

Just got wind that I will not be able to run this weekend. Just got extremely busy at work. 70hrs. a week for the next 6 months. Lets just say......OVERTIME.

We do not support personal transponders at this point. We do have 2 sets of transponders to make the event go smoothly.

There is limited power available at the arcade, which will be able to run an air compressor. I am not sure if Jeff will bring out his air compressor this time like he did last time, but if you bring one, it won't hurt!

It sounds like we should have a pretty decent turn-out for MT and Buggy classes. An optimistic guess for the buggy class would be 15 to 20 cars.... It should be good!
