Fresh Cherries has some awesome castings coming our way. Now that the Surprise Dinner car is here (T&C Lebaron wagon) the factory production version should hit pegs soon! I saw pictures in two color formats so far. The new 1:64th scale dioramas look really cool and the possibilities for that across the board are numerous. Train sets, custom dioramas, display....you name it! A Police version is coming out for the Dodge and by far the best picture of the night was killer Maurice in the late 70's wearing his disco white shoes!!!

Wild Cherries has single peg 1:87th scale castings along with mulit-packs in the works. One multipack was cheaper at 'Fest than I've seen a single HO scale car go for in the past so.......!

There was also some rumors and thoughts about taking the wild cherry red rubber tires and making it a new chase version for the brand.

lots of coll things in the works for sure!

pms485,

Is Motormax changing the name of the HO Fresh Cherries to Sweet Cherries? And, are the green and yellow boxes being discontinued? Quite frankly, it's a little confusing since the Fresh Cherries brand is so new.

Mark,

Did Maurice Chan have any insights into the HO scale scene? Any new HO vehicles coming in 2008, possibly some modern cars?

I'm all for different names if they represent different eras. Sweet Cherries: 70's-80's. Fresh Cherries: 90's-2007. Maybe I'll see Maurice at iHobby Expo in October and pass on some ideas!

Dear All:

Thanks, Motormax for bringing one of the most wished cars by me: the Diplomat. I am in awe, as I see the pictures of this pup. Good news indeed, and this will come as a Police Cruiser as well!!!

Am I correct when I assume that the Diplomat will be done in 1:60 scale? That would be so cool...

DIPLOMAT! I can't wait for this one! I'm hoping for a 1/60 and 1/87 on this one.

Are those '57 bel airs gonna all be in American Graffiti? and are they 1/87 or 1/60-1/64 ? Also, any idea when they're due to hit the pegs? Sorry about all the questions, but this one has me excited. I love the AG line and I'm glad they put out a second wave with new colors.
