Anyone have one of these and what do you like and dislike.

I am wanting to try a different 1/12th scale other than 12L4 - it is getting dated and there has to be something easier to drive out there.

For the price, features and reviews I read I am looking at the Corally. Has all the bang for the buck built in and looks as if I can mod the steering to accept normal turnbuckles and change the body posts.

Other cars I am looking at are:

CRC Carpet Knive Gen X

CEFX

I have never liked the parts availability of the Corally stuff. I haven't seen to many guys run there front end either, most just run the associated one. CEFX is a really nice car but in some areas the parts are had to come by as well. The Gen X parts may be easier to get but I haven't heard to much about it at most local tracks, not sure why.

Thanks for the info.

Looks as if no one runs 1/12 scale anymore due to no more responses.

I run 1/12 on road for over 2 1/2 years. I have the 3.2r carpet knife and just switched over to BMI's DB12R. Both the cars I run is a non t-plate car and non 4c split pack configuration.

The corally car is a good car. I've seen two guys run them on asphault and carpet and did pretty well.

You might what to check out the other racers at your track to see what they are running. I would also say check parts availability but most 1/12 cars run the associated type frontend, and the pod is either t-plate or "floating" pod. Also, checkout rctech.net the electric forum for 1/12. Seems like most onroad guys are there.

Hey Mike, I will try to get with you this weekend. I don't know what you want to do with 12th this year, but non-T plate cars are a hassle. I will PM you my new number.

I am going to ride it out with a 12L4 and see and drive some of the other cars at the track if someone will let me to get a feel of the differences.

Jerry - just seen this but got with you. Get out and do a little fun running with us all.

i've had the reflex and black widow trinity cars, crc bloody knife and the 3.2r, and a 12L3. I never really did well with the trail link cars. always loved the consistancy and durability of t-plate cars. i'm leaning toward the cefx car myself. you just call josh and he sends the parts. easy! I was kinda eyein the 12L4 car as well especially since jon orr always does so well...

I snagged a Quad12 conversion kit and will set that up along with my 12L4 to see which one I like better.

Really like to get another tc but $$$ and the hassle of running 2 classes is detering me from doing so.

Should be a good winter of racing.
