Could you give some details as to how this is going to be set up, will there be teams, how long will the races be, or is it going to be the normal 2 heats and a main for each class with a individual cash payout for each class. Just truck and 1/8 scale theres no way he could pay that kind of money for every class...

I think just the 2 classes are a great idea. The most popular from both types of power. A definite payout will also help pull some people inn. As long as my wheel hand isn't getting sliced into I will be there. Its twice the size as it normally is. I'm sure a few of the guys up this way will make the trip.

For the most part, Yes. However tweaks will be made as far as jumps and obstacles in order to even the playing field. Meaning fast inside cuts allong the tube will be no more. Or we could really mess with you & run the track backwards.
We had to go with our 2 most popular classes, in the nitro & ele. class, for this particular race. We would have loved to run the truggy or mt class as well. But we couldnt guarantee a payout to the extent of the other two classes. Hey, it bumms me out too. I run MT.

I believe on page 1 of this thread it says that the truck A-main will be 10 min. in length. The 3 qualifiers will be 7 min. each. (At least that's how I understand it to be! :thumbsup: )

Yup they will ...They run them together and that have to stop 2 times ...

Ahhhhh! Gotcha - I would agree! I misunderstood the class you were talking about. I'm a 1/10 scale guy, so when I hear the word "electric" that's what automatically think of!

I would like to get some idea on the makes /models of truck and buggy that will be showing up. So I can make sure I have a stock of parts, on the ones that I carry.

Let us know if the 1/8 scale electric buggies have to come in for pit stops or maybe just run a half hour main. That way it's fair to everyone because we have to come in for fuel.

Yes, ele buggies have a mandatory 5 sec. pit. We have not had a single issue. Most of the time, gunners or pit crew count to 5 & wave them on.
It does not matter when you pit either. Some pit early to avoid the traffic in the pits.
