There is a lot out there for the Rustler....
Stock.. It is just a beginners truck. It would take some work to make it race ready.
Much better than the Rustlers of old though.
Lots of fun and great Bang for the buck.

I run a Rustler in a dirt oval spec class. We have to leave the truck completely stock except for larger bearing carriers (RPM or the new Traxxas), adjustable camber links, and shock springs/oil. Everything else must be unchanged - no lightening allowed. We run the club handout motor (silver can monster) and a 1500 pack.
They work fine for this spec class but cannot really compete with the Associated or Losi trucks in the open mod class.

The chassis is very limited in it's capabilities ,but the VXL brushless system is an awesome set-up. very versitile.
