Another excellent model from HPI of the 956 Longtail entered by the British team of Richard Lloyd Racing, sponsored by Canon & driven by Jonathan Palmer / James Weaver / Richard Lloyd. The car - chassis #106 - had been modified by the team and put up a strong showing, qualifying in 9th and ending up in 2nd position overall.

HPI have done a superb job with this model with lots of intricate detailing, particularly noticeable when the rear bodywork is removed.

Franklin, IMO these are cracking castings, I've also got the 1991 Mazda 787B - I'm looking forward to their 1989 Sauber C9 & 1990 Jaguar XJR-11.

Cheers,

Steve
