That is a real beauty. It clearly demonstrates just how sophisticated a "simple" toy can be. Congratulations on a fine addition.

(Kinda neat how the proportions and color do suggest Mater. Maybe it's his pa.)

What alot of people don't realize is those values are for MINT condition WITH BOX.
The usual value for a "well loved" piece is just a few dollars which is why half of my
vintage Matchbox collection consists of cars of a similar condition ~ I love 'em
like that ~ covered in the charm of many paint chips! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

when I am ask what my collection is worth I say nothing because I am not going to sell it therefore the $ value is nothing but to me it is priceless

When people ask me what my collection is worth, I say "My diecast collection is worth a fraction of what I spent". In most cases this is true for so many diecast collectors. I don't care......the money that I spent was worth the fun! :thumbsup:
