I don't believe it, but WalMart has the new Christmas ornaments of the Nascars. There's a real nice Kevin Harvick "Shell" car.
What I need is someone to tell me how to convert them into slot cars.
Thanks a lot,

Last year I was waiting for some of these to go on sale after Christmas...
But I waited too long... lol
I am sure it is fairly easy to glue body mounts of any type into these...

Had to hit wallyworld tonite and find em...
What I saw was Jeffy, Jimmy, Smoke, Dale Jr, Kasey K, and Harvick
And they still have the numbers on both sides!!! :woohoo:

I had to snag the last Harvick one, looks pretty cool, the Gordon and Stewart ones were the ones that got clearanced out last year.

Only a couple of chassis have a long enough wheelbase for them to fit a 440x2 pan chassis, and the marchon MR1 that guys like to use to convert diecast cars...

I've done a 440 pan with a tony stewart body, it fits ok but the wheels do stick out a bit...

And also built a Jeffy Jet with a custom extended wheelbase, it looks a little better with the wheels tucked in but handles a little wierd.

I'm thinking another 440 pan chassis... but might try using black HP7 wheels and try to tuck them into the body

Dang it. I can't get a good pic. My digital is on the blink so I tried w/ my camera phone. Not the best focus in world - so I'll have to figure something else out.

I gotta ask a dumb question here.

Are these plastic bodies? If they are, I'll try and pick some up. Randy.

Yes, they are plastic bodies. And they're easy to mount to the chassis. I just hot glued mine.
