I stumbled upon this beauty today and it is set up just about how I want to set mine up but this one has more options and a v6 and my current one just has a 4banger and no options.

Hmmmmm.....is it worth $3,500.00?

And if I took my current bed cover and the bottom part of the front end of my current truck it would look even sweeter...

Not to shabby if you are willing to drive to Staten Island to get it.

It is only about 150 miles from here. That is not too bad considering all the driving I have recently done.

Nick - I, for one, am more than willing to spend your money.

Looks like fun. Go for it!

If you can swing it, go for it. If it's what you want and can afford it why not ?

Will you sell the other four banger after ? Maybe get a little money back.

C'mon Nick Maddy wants a convertable , one that can haul her car too.

Gee Nick, $3500 is about 6 months of diecast buying for you isn't it? :p

Do it only if it doesn't interfere with your Johnny collecting.

I just recently traded in my Splash for a new Jeep Liberty. But I loved the Ford, never had problems, and had the V6 package. Really diggin that convertible look, that is quite a great price for that one, I would have no problem paying that for that ride.

I'm biased toward Rangers so I would say buy it anyway. I have a 92 with a 302 in her. I'm making about 300 horse at the motor which makes for one fun little truck!

Nick,
Open top + more power = FUNNER! :)

To be safe, run a Carfax on it if you decide to make the plunge.

Maybe you will be showing it off next April??

Well. I won it for the reserve of $3,200.00 and I have my other one sold for $1,500.00 to a very good friend.

I can't wait to get up there and pick this puppy! I just need to find somebody to ride up with me so I can drive the truck back to PA!

On a related topic, I have never purchased a vehicle out of state. What needs to happen next? I sold my fathers van for him and a dude from Virginia cam up and drove it home. All my dad did was sign the title over to him. No notary or anything. Is that all I will have to do? Just sign the title and go to a local notary to get it registered in PA? What about the drive home? I was thinking of maybe asking if I can keep the plate on and mailing it back when I got home. How does that work? I have seen cars on the road with not tags at all. What would happen if I got pulled over?

Any advise would be appreciated! I will post pics of the new ride once I get her home!

Congrats on winning the auction for your new baby Nick. Have a safe trip going to pick it up, and your return trip.

Keep us informed what you had to do in title transfer, license plate, etc. for an out-of-state vehicle.

Nick any DMV or notary should be able to do an out of state title for the truck. They will give you temp registration and then forward the title to PA for endorsement to you.

First, congrats on getting the truck!

If I'm not mistaken, around here you use your current plate, and you have seven days to get it registered. I haven't done it in awhile, so I could be wrong. Your best bet is to call your DMV and ask them.

I know here in VA, you can get a temporary "transport" tag, valid for 3 or 7 days (can't remember which) but the sad thing is, practicly every state is different.

As stated, contact the DMV and ask them the best, and proper way to do it. And contact yours (PA) not where the car is at.

I doubt the owner will let you use his tags for his own sake (what if you get pulled, ditch car, hit and run, etc... etc...) If he does, great, but i wouldn't expect it.

I bought a car in Texas a couple years ago and drove back to Missouri all I had
was the Title and a bill of sale, never got stopped.

I see its been dropped in the front, are you going to level it out any?

Probably going to flip the springs on the back and see what that looks like. Maybe in the future I may do more but I am not a "too the floor" kind of guy. I don't want to have to worry about bottoming out every time I hit a tiny bump.

I hope to be driving this baby home Friday! (shhh. don't tell my boss) LOL
