New to RC, I just got a used T-maxx, it runs great, it's fast, it performs great, it idles well, I followed all the tuning directions in the start up video...Now to the problem. It dies,it dies a lot. It runs for about 5 min, you can put on the brakes, you can gun it, you can do doughnuts; but if you let off to idle it shuts off. I turned up the idle on the servo to where in the video it "starts jumping" and back it off a little and it still does it. Other than overheating (which I haven't had it happen yet according to my temp gauge) I can't figure it out. As far as other settings it's perfect, right mixture, good smoke, not too much, not too little, idles well when it does, it just dies.....and of course it's always 100' away!! This is getting kind of discouraging. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

turn the idle up with the screw on the carb, not your radio, it will still let it close the air supply off. what temps is it running at when its hot ? and does it start right back up when it does it when its hot ? if yes, its the idle screw on the carb, if no, it needs rebuilt.

Thank you for your help, I tued the idle today. I guess I was tweaking, and didn't tweak enough. Thanks for the suggestions.
