I was browsing the tvshowsondvd website when I came accross this announcement.

The series was definitely a mixed bag, but there were at least one or two episodes that I did like. Notably the "Return of Starbuck" episode.

Here is a link:

It is rumored to be out possibly by the end of the year.

The only "worthwhile" episode is indeed "The Return Of Starbuck".The rest of it is really dreadfull.Love the original series. Wished they did a second season.

It should have been named "What Ever Happened To Starbuck" instead of "The Return Of Starbuck"
I wouldn't mind watching that show again.

Oh God, they'll be releasing the Logan's Run TV series next on DVD. Or was Galactica 1980 actually worse? That really is a topic for debate.

YAAAAYYY!! This makes me so happy! :)

Of course, I'm drunk. Even the microwave oven blowing up makes me happy.

B-D. two words: Doctor Zee. Logan's Run didn't have him.

Not to mention Logan had Heather Menzies in a miniskirt.

I tuned in to one of SciFi Channels marathons of Galactica 1980, I lasted about 15 minutes. The Galactica crew was fighting the Nazis!

And blatently rip off The Day the Earth Stood Still. Although Galactica 1980 had the formula on a computer screen, not a chalk board. Would've been screwed if there was a power cut...

Oh, sorry. Should've warned that there were spoilers in there, just in case someone actually decides to watch the show.

And fighting Nazi's. Hmm, B&B's inspiration for that ep from Enterprise?

Nah. Nazis are a classic enemy. Even Kirk managed to fight some.

Now, if you mix Galactica fighting the Nazis, and bumping into the Enterprise crew fighting the Nazis, then you've got something.

Every "thrilling" (ugh) episode on December 26th.

With a discount, I guess it's not too much to pay for the one good episode.

Note that they call it "The original Battlestar:Galactica's Final Season".

Not hardly.

Six dozen? Don't you think that's an awful lot to pay for something for when you go target shooting?

Duh! He ain't goin' target shootin' - he's usin' 'em for coasters. :D

'Sides, have you seen the costs of ammunition lately? If you shoot anything much larger'n a .38, it's kind of expensive!
