i aggree with ray and i did mention that in an earlier post about calling DOT and BILL! lol id hate to see anyone drive for nothing but maybe if everyoen just shows up and pays and has spectrum maybe it will be ok but maybe not. deffinatly call first! :)

looks like Ken Pennel might be coming back for the season. atleast at a short schedual anyways. all he needs is a brushless system. anyone have a spare? lol or a 13.5 to spare? :) gonna be cool seeing some old faces

I would say that stock will still be a brushed class, a bunch of guys switched to the 13.5 since it was close to 19t. 13.5 should be the big class this year.WOW Dirk, guess u got hooked quick on the brushless. doors open at 10am and racing starts at either 5:30 or 6. im not sure which. i think this year bill will have the drivers meeting 30 mins b4 the planned start of racing will be to help everyone so they know when to start charging there batterys. so i hope he goes with that cause it will be a big help. everyone knows that sometimes the drivers meeting is 10 mins and other times its 30 mins lol. it should be fun seeing some upstate ny guys again! see you guys sat

ps i do beleive we will be running the ORL rules for brushless on a weekly basis. so wings are allowed and back of bodies is legal. atleast thats from what i iunderstand and if i find out diff ill let you guys know

funny you say that walter because i think its pretty cool that some of the best oval racers in the country enjoy racing at Marshalls. and consider marshalls one of there most fun tracks to race at! combine that with the fact that its a great testing ground for the snowbirds track! this year should be packed with pan car racing and i cant wait

First night indoors on the carpet and the new 13.5 brushless class was a blast!!:woohoo:12 cars, top 10 just a tick over a lap difference from TQ to 10th. A-main Joe and Matry run over 3 laps side by side for the lead:thumbsup:.

For the record. I switched cars for the 13.5 Bmain and won the race. I forfeited 1st place to the second place car as I did not know that Bill was awarding anything for the win and 2nd as well. I apologize to anyone that may have thought I was cheating as I was just shaking down another car and thought the b-main wouldnt really matter as it was not a points night . Again sorry for any inconvienience to any drivers. Dale!

63 for Joe and Marty and some others in the A. 62 for the B. Cars are fast no wing needed.

i had a blast lastnight. thanks to everyone for helping me out, Mike O, Dirk, Dale, Matt, marty, andy and franklin. i hope i can make it back there next week but it depends on work. ill deffinatly be around for the neot/orl weekend and it should be awesome. 13.5 is the best class for marshalls! the main was one of the best races ive ever had. marty runs so clean and doesnt try to cut a guy off when they get the run on them. Cant wait till next week!

Needed a 63 to make the A, 62 flat was first on the B. Building was real warm and humid last night.

Dito! Great close racing, a little to close in my case, need to do a better job of avoiding lap traffic. Thanx for the help Marty, the shocks worked great.

Marty, here is one for you. I just took a few minutes to check out those shocks and found them to be harder to work than they were last night. On taking them apart I found that the piece of foam in the cups had shriveled up and had become hard and stuck to the piston shaft. I had used some older associated 30wt. silicone oil that I had. Wonder if that older oil is not compatable with the foam pieces in these shocks? I have already built my new shocks with the same oil, have to see what happens, Ray
