Ok now Im PO Id love to know why your pointing fingers at me. This isnt even funny, and why do you all have attitudes? I come to the track and race, I dont ask for any help yet Im treated like shit, I havent run pan cars since last March and this is my third week back with brushless and I feel I am performing well, 63 4.02 in the main and yet, you all like to kiss everybodys ass that needs to have their hand held and their diapers changed. wtf? I am not going to put up with this kind of stuff anymore and if some of you guys worried about your car as much as who the midnite rider was you would break the track record. Now all of you tough guys can spend the next few days ripping me. Dylan Saturno Ps. I aint hiding behind no name you all know who I am. I think it is just the way the guys kid around! you are an excellent young talent and some day your gonna be rippin on the younger guys just like the old farts rip on you now and you will understand. I think they are all just scared that soon you young guys will be bumping us to the B as our eyes and reflexes fade with time! I would race with you anytime and any help you may need just ask and I will gladly help. Although your only 1 lap off my best times right now, maybe you can help me? Anytime72 11-21-2007, 09:27 AM Shadow, are you talking from expirence? I know, back to the end of the line............I miss all the fun at night. Hopefully this weekend we can continue to have a great 13.5 class. I was only hoping to run some 10.5 just to get some laps in and not take away from 13.5. Too bad Novak didn't have the 17.5 ready at the beginning of the season that would have been a great thing to start off with as a beginner class. 13.5 is a perfect speed for Marshall's. The other reason for 10.5 is the rest of the country is ahead of us in running this class and for those making the trip to the Snowbirds and other bigger races it's harder to get up to speed if we can't run it weekly. Looking forward to racing this weekend. Hopefully the crowd will be good. One thing I will say is that 13.5 racing is the closet pan car racing I've seen at Marshall's in a long time. Walter Bonzai 11-21-2007, 03:20 PM Why doesnt everybody use their real name? can it be changed? MIKE VALENTINE 11-21-2007, 03:26 PM Why doesnt everybody use their real name? can it be changed? Bart Diaz 11-21-2007, 09:38 PM I told you to ask the guys if you can run 19t with the 10.5 guys to see if they will let you run with them. So what do you think can bill run with the 10.5's? Dale 11-21-2007, 10:03 PM I told you to ask the guys if you can run 19t with the 10.5 guys to see if they will let you run with them. So what do you think can bill run with the 10.5's? Bart thats not a good idea. Last time Bill ran 19t with me I went 67 4:02 and he was right with me for 3 min. and finished with a 66 4 flat. Between Joe and I we may have an extra system but I am not sure yet. Bill just open the wallet dust off the moths and buy a speedo and 13.5 motor already!! If you just get a speedo I have a 10.5 motor you can borrow if you want to run that class. Just get to the track already ya bum!!!! Bart Diaz 11-21-2007, 10:20 PM I figured I try, I was talking to him earlyer and was going to lend him a car but he doesn't have spektum yet. captain11 11-21-2007, 10:23 PM Maybe midnight rider is 'THE ROCK' from tech talk a few years ago hehe. I emailed novak and asked if the futaba faast will work with the part #1715 I think it will I just wanna make sure before I spend almost $500.00 does anyboby know if it does????????? While spread spectrum technology has only been in the R/C industry for a few years, it has gained quite a following due to its ability to offer racers freedom from radio interference. Novak is the first to acknowledge this with products specifically designed to take full advantage of DSM technology. Novak’s response is the first speed controls optimized for spread spectrum transmitters: the #1711 GTB Spread Spectrum Brushless/brush ESC and the #1715 GTB 4-Cell Spread Spectrum Brushless/Brush ESC. Always a technological leader, Novak has upgraded the GTB ESC (http://www.teamnovak.com/products/esc/gtb/index.html) to work with spread spectrum systems from manufacturers such as Spektrum™, Nomadio™, and Futaba™. Since spread spectrum technology uses a much higher frequency, 2.4Ghz to be precise, this has allowed Novak to finally unleash the full potential of the GTB speed control. Both new GTB models now have significantly faster MOSFET switching speeds, which provide improved performance and cooler operating temperatures. In short, the ESC gets power and increased operational efficiency at the same time! Dale 11-21-2007, 10:56 PM Bill what radio do you have? They still make the gtbs that run on regular old fm and original spektrum modules. You would just need to get one (i think Dot has them in stock) I have an original GTB and a 4 cell spread spectrum GTB and notice no difference between them and I ran them both with an old 1024 radio with spektrum module and normal FM no problems.
