I'm taking it to my monthly diecast meet tomorrow. I'm not a fan of of the '71 Charger, but I am a fan of quality 1/43 scale diecast cars.

Great find Stutz!
Still fun finding a chase piece of nice quallity like that
even if it's not your favourite.
You'll find someone who'll love it I'm sure.
That monthly meet sounds like real fun.
Wish there was one in my area.
You guys do a loy of trading?

It's a buy, trade, sell meet Dave. Sometimes there's an auction too. A couple of months ago Johnnies were auctioned in 10 car lots. Most winning bids were from $5-$7 (the castings were of no interest to me). With fall approaching I'm hoping more members attend. They have gravity racing, but I feel silly asking to have the track set-up just for me and a few kids. Maybe I feel silly because the kids beat me. :p

If a certain member brings his customs to this meet, I'll take some pics and post them. They are AWESOME! Last month was the first time that he didn't bring his customs.

Sounds like you have a great community of collectors down there.
My area is comparatively tiny so...

And I would LOVE to see some pics!!!
Especially of those customs!

I saw three club members on Saturday at a flea market that were selling diecast cars. One member scored two Green Machines (one was the same Pace Car that Puppycat found), and another member got two Shelby Collectibles black GT350-H Mustangs with white interior (I don't know if these are chase cars, they are showing up at a lot of K-MART stores).

I got two WHITES, and several limited edition Johnnies at the flea. I was happy with my buys!
