View Full Version : Ko Propo or z-1 radios? Breeze 09-03-2007, 09:35 AM Whats the differance between the two? CDW35 09-03-2007, 11:42 AM The Ko Propo Ex-10 Helios and the JR Z-1 Radio is the Exact same radio the only difference is the JR offers there synthesized RF module and RS310 receiver. The KO uses RF-501F module and the KR-302F Receiver. other then that they are the same radio, if I am not mistaken i believe the JR has on the bottom of the radio developed by ko propo. Hope this helps, gezer2u 09-03-2007, 10:18 PM The websites for each radio vary widely. So, it is hard to compare them. I don't know why JR doesn't have any spec's. http://www.jrradios.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=JRP374075 http://www.kopropo.com/EX-10_helios.htm rj14 09-05-2007, 12:07 PM The Ko Propo Ex-10 Helios and the JR Z-1 Radio is the Exact same radio the only difference is the JR offers there synthesized RF module and RS310 receiver. Hope this helps, You are correct in this. However the Ko version can be purchased cheaper as a Tx only so you can then add the Spektrum module and reciever. The Z-1 w/ reciever and no servos will be around $339 (Horizon) and the Ex-10 Tx can be purchased for around $199 (ebay stores) plus $179 (Horizon) for the Spektrum Pro mod/Rx. $99 for the reg module and $79 for the reg Rx. But with some wise searching you can find this stuff cheaper. CDW35 09-05-2007, 12:55 PM You are correct in this.
