View Full Version : Cruzin' with RC's
cutter1 09-02-2007, 03:21 PM Cruzin' with rc's is moving from ramsey N.J. to Waldwick N.J. and is going to have an asphalt oval and road course in a underground parking garage, that can be run on all year! hobby shop should be up and running with a mini z track indoors on Oct 1, he hopes to have the asphalt track up and running about a month later. the asphalt track measures 100'x50'
cutter1 09-03-2007, 12:07 PM talked to the owner yesterday (Ronny) hes really looking forward to making this happen, but needs help from the oval guys, to not only stock the hobbyshop but on ideas on the track, for me it would cut my drive time to the track by 2hrs! LOL
SHADOW 09-03-2007, 12:21 PM What drive time you're always riding with me:wave:
bologna 09-03-2007, 12:27 PM is this track going to be the put up take down everyweek type or a track thats always laid down..
also did you get to look at the space how cold would it be in the winter as im sure there is no heat in a parking space...
cutter1 09-03-2007, 12:33 PM the track is going to be down all the time, i asked about heat, right know its inclosed on 3 sides he said he would heat it if necessary duting the winter. i drove under there yesterday it seems pretty smooth
Shadow oh i meant sleep, if we race there i'll pick you up and drive all the time, oh waite you can walk!!!
bologna 09-03-2007, 02:51 PM keep me posted and once he gets up and running ill take a ride over and take a look..
cutter1 09-08-2007, 01:43 PM looking for some input or concerns about running a "semi-indoor" asphalt all year round

SHADOW 09-12-2007, 12:06 AM yeah a track less than a mile away, I might even pit at my house so I don't need to pack and unpack my stuff:lol:
Oh no could this spell the end of Marshalls NJ posse' ? What would we do without Dirk,Mark,Jorge,Marty,Walter, the Diaz brothers and others? Guess we may have to join them? Time will tell!
Anytime72 09-12-2007, 09:44 AM I'm still a little skeptical on running asphalt in the winter, semi enslosed or not. We will never forget Marshall's and all the fun up there. Just need to work on Bill to get us out a little earlier.

that made me laugh man. :) can i turn marshall from your house? :) probly a bit warmer then underground in winter lol
will there be a shop at all?
Bart Diaz 09-12-2007, 06:04 PM Don't worry Dale we still plan on running carpet up there all winter.
Joe the hobby shop is up stairs.
SHADOW 09-12-2007, 06:37 PM Nah, I'll still be up at Marshall's, that asphalt track will be real cold in the winter. Might be a good place to run on the off weekends at Marshall's during the summer. Good part about racing around here they don't roll up the streets at 9pm on Sat nights. Oh no could this spell the end of Marshalls NJ posse' ? cutter1 09-12-2007, 09:44 PM thats true you can actully get something to eat after midnight around here!!!theres about 4 places within walking distance of the track/hobbyshop. im still not sure how it will be in the winter but atleast during the summer and fall and possibly winter its an option for us, you know how much i love that asphalt track at marshalls!!! Joe, Dale, Matt and the rest of the pa guys you might just have to make a road trip

Road trip? Of course Joe and I would try it a time or two! I just hope the exotic dancers dont have more than two nipples (Jersey, toxic dumps etc..LOL) Although that may excite Joey! Ok Mark and Dirk before you beat me to it 3 nipples may stiil be better than the 2 teeth that our PA girls sport due to decay from the skoal they chew right? Oh you thought we were coming to race? HA HA HA!!
Anytime72 09-13-2007, 06:36 AM You PA guys might want to milk them dancers instead of tip them.
Porksalot4L 09-13-2007, 09:40 AM lol hey im sure jersey has a few won toof wonders also :)
Anytime72 09-13-2007, 12:52 PM We keep them hidden.............
bologna 09-13-2007, 04:54 PM NJ HOME OF JOJO............. nuff said hehehehehe
SHADOW 09-13-2007, 06:10 PM nope none left we export them to PA:cool: lol hey im sure jersey has a few won toof wonders also :)
cutter1 09-13-2007, 09:58 PM walt in pennciltucky they just do a different kind of tippin!as in cow i meant dancer!!
Anytime72 09-14-2007, 07:17 AM The dancers have dirty feet from working in the fields all day.
The Jersy dancers are excellent swimmers. Ten toes per foot and webbed feet they challange dolphins to the 100 yard swim dash!
Porksalot4L 09-14-2007, 11:02 AM lol lets just say that nj isnt the cleanest state there is :) and pa isnt the most advanced. now lets go racing! lol looks like alot of guys are coming up to marshalls tommorrow to practice. not sure if bill and dot will mind sincei ts a dirt offroad race lol but just letting everyone know. so when is the cruizin opening?
Brett Diaz 09-15-2007, 12:05 PM I can feel the love for dancers in the two states. May have to just try asphalt if brock and buhler show up for some fun and tutoring.
How come we dont hear from the owner about the new store and track.
cutter1 09-19-2007, 04:58 PM hey Brett, you comin back to race at marshalls,
