Are there any online retailers that carry the Matchbox America line?

Are you referring to Matchbox new released issue named "Superfast AMERICA"? If so, yes they are exclusive to Wal-Mart so far. There have been two batches issued out of 18 models so far.

This is something that I will be bringing up with Mattel when we speak this week. For anyone who does not know, I am the Matchbox Ambassador for the next year (started in August, and runs until July). This means I will be talking with Mattel about various things to do with the Matchbox brand. This is one of the subjects being discussed at the moment. Hopefully more information will be known about Superfast America availability very soon. I will let you know the outcome.

:) :p :D

Perhaps he is referring to the Matchbox Across America series instead, from a few years ago.

Matchbox Superfast America is the line I'm referring to. Cars such as the Lincoln Premiere Conv., the 56 Ford Sunliner Conv., 55 Cadillac Fleetwood, 69 Camaro, 70 Cuda, as well as other American cars. I haven't seen any of these in stores or available from online retailers.

At the moment we are dealing with a small group of 18 models. That is the size of the current series. It is basically a continuation of the Superfast series of 75 that became a Wal*Mart exclusive after 3 batches (which at the time only had 32 released of the 75). Wal*Mart finished off the set of 75, and now the new Superfast America series has been released. At the moment it is still a Wal*Mart exclusive, and 13 of the 18 models have now been released. So far, no other stores or dealers have started stocking them. Hopefully a deal is being made to make other stores and dealers to start selling them.

This is what I am going to be discussing with the guys from Mattel.

:) :p :D

They appeared this past week in 3 Walmarts I visited. Didn't hang long before they were GONE!! The package is colorfully eye-catching and the Sunliner and Ford Pickup were my favorites. I grabbed the Sunliner:

I've seen the remnants of those at WM only. Pretty nice looking, but they want 3.74 each for 'em.

"doba, I have been in several Wallys and most had them just hung this past week. Keep an eye out, there's no reason you shouldn't see them. They are $2.98 here, 60'smetal, a little better than your price but still enough so I only grabbed the one I really wanted.
