Just want everyone to know that we are going to run oval again!!! I am setting up the dates for this season. We are going to run once a month on sudays. Right now we are trying to confirm the dates, I tried to keep them away from days at Tri-clone, Victory and the BRL races. We want to keep this a fun race day so we will be running all the classes.

I am asking for a little help to run these race days, if anyone can help with set-up and teardown on the track that would be great.

For those that missed it in the original post, we will be running all the classes!! From pan cars to trucks to oval sedans and yes even mini's (18th scales).

I'll be there for sure. I'll have no problem helping you guys setup! Trackside was always a fun place to race at and look forward to racing there again.

I think Ox and myself should make some of them.

I had a feeling with the success of the Dirt this summer that we could get some carpet oval going there again.

I heard about a racer named danny d and my friends said he used to be a real fast rc car oval driver. I hope he can help me drive real fast too. :woohoo:

Hello everyone, I did not leave you hanging about the dates, Scotty just hasn't got back to me yet.... Right now I know that we will race on Sept. 30th and Nov. 11th. On the september date, Scotty will be in Vegas for the IIC along with Jamie and Showtime, if we want to do this date I will need some help. so if anyone can help out that would be great.

I don't think I have been retired from racing completely, I have been on the Bill Elliot schedule.... Run once or twice a month and take a month off. I can't come back full force yet, hopefully in the near future.

I finally got the all the dates for the oval races.

sept. 30th
nov. 18th
dec. 30th
feb. 17th
mar. 30th

For all race days we will open at 8 am for practice and start at noon with 3 quals and a main. As for track set-up I will be in at 7:00 am if anyone wants to help.

If anyone has an 1/18th scale or a Losi slider bring them along it sounds like there should be enough for a class.

JUST A REMINDER TO EVERYONE. Dont forget that the only traction compound that trackside allows is Jack the Gripper. I talked to Kenny last night and the hobby shop has plenty in stock.

Everything went real good on sunday. We had a good turnout for so early in the season. Thanks everyone for coming down to race and I hope to see more for next time.

Danny. Thanks for bringing oval back to Trackside. It just doesn't seem right not to be racing there. I plan on making the next one.

It sounds like there will be a 4 race BRL state race series in Wisconsin.... Trackside, Victory, Tri-clone, and Wausau? Keep checking here for more details.

Let all your friends know that at Trackside we will have all the classes running on the oval; trucks, 1/18th, sliders, sedans and pan cars.

Trust me, there will be no Dude appearances at any r/c tracks this winter.

Between my full time engineering job, building new stock cars for next summer & my vinyl decal business I will have no time to even think about r/c cars. I do however plan on doing up a few bodies for OX to run this winter.

I am sure there will be no heartbroken people by me not showing up to the tracks. :lol:

I hope you guys get some big turnouts & all have a great time this winter! :woohoo:
