The wheels Greenlight put on this custom Cuda were hideous. Luckily they were the only "custom" thing. A quick wheel and tire change and she looks great! I prefer the stock look

I agree. That was the reason why I didn't pick up that car. Your change makes it look so much better.

I've never done a wheel/tire change. Do you have any recommendations on the best way to do this?

This was my first attempt (and I did manage to destroy one wheel). It's easiest if the donor car is the same model. That way the axles are the right length and you only have to remove 1 wheel. I first pulled the tires off. I used a small screw driver to pry the wheel up as close to the axle as possible. You need to make sure you pry up on the center part of the wheel or you may break the wheel. What would work best if your pry bar had a slot in the middle for the axle so you could pry up both sides of the wheel at the same time. Once one wheel is off, the axle slides out with the other wheel still attached. Its easy to install on the new car. Press fitting the wheel on holds it tight enough to be handled. I don't know how many times you could do this before the wheel will become loose.

Did the same thing to my Purple Cudas !
You have to make sure to pry against the center hub when wheel swapping , or you break the centers out , like you said ... I did that a few times too . Most come off fairly easy , but some are real difficult ...

Just wondering if it would be easier just to swap the base on identical cars without touching the wheels? Is this possible?

Thanks
