Here's the thing folks we want to know what the rookies both old and new want to do in the rookie class this season. Our idea is to run the rookie class after the ORL spec truck rules. For the rules of this class go to www.outlawracingleague.com and follow the link to the SPEED SPEC TRUCK Class. This is under the rules link.

Now once you have gone through the rules and specs let us know what you want to do. We are flexible to go with the masses want. Personaly I prefer using the truck bodies BUT if the majority wants car bodies that's the way we'll go. SO PLEASE let us know A.S.A.P so we can finalize everything for the upcomming indoor season.

VOTE here and be heard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok my vote for my 2 rookies it do everything as in the orl truck series but keep them running car bodies. i dont know about anywhere else but its cheaper for me to go buy a car body then ordering a nastruck body online cause i never find them in the hobby shop here.ordering online cost more cause of shipping and i know my rookies will go through some bodies so i can throw on old ones for then to tear up.

toby i understand your point about they can run elsewhere too that had the trucks. But for me my rookies are only running glen burnie or is it blen burnie

The Rookie/Novice class should be run what you have stock brushless spec 4 cell truck body car body Toring Car what ever just set a lap speed. If some one is to fast then they have to slow down or bump up. Who ever in in these class is supposed to be a beginner. This way a newbe could buy the right equipment learn to drive and then move up in class with out starting over in equipment

jon i agree with you that sounds good to me run spec for the novice the body can be what ever they want to run sounds good to me and keeping them at a limited speed sounds very good. now on that what we could do also is let them decide how to do it if they are too fast let the rookie decide if they feel they are good enough to bump up or if they just want to slow it down for more practice or learning experience.

OK FOLKS after talking to some folks and a couple pms through here.

ROOKIE class at GB this yr will be spec packs ....These are cheap and can be gotten through different sources. The motors will be the spec using any brush.

As for bodies and chassis ............chassis any pan car will do. On the bodies truck or car bodies will be fine.

For part numbers on the motors and batteries go to the ORL site shown above and get them from your LHS (local hobby shop)

Keep in mind test and tune day on sept 23rd.....so get them goodies and other stuff ready to go and come on out for that day of practice !!!!!!!!
