Kevin Kevin- Was the top photo taken at the BIG "E"? It sure looks like Eldora to me. Joe Brooks  Tim Mc 09-05-2007, 08:52 PM Ahh yes, I remember watching this car during the building stages on the QSARF. Kevin, do you still have the car? Here is my sprint car from a few years ago Kevin KevinBahr 09-06-2007, 04:04 PM Yes that photo was taken at the 2003 Kings Royal. It is so cool to have everyone there checking out the car, taking pictures. I even had Earl Baltes sign the top wing for me, along side Craig Dollansky's autograph. I still have the car. This car means to much to me to get rid of. I spent way to much time on it to just pass it on. Kevin Tim Mc 09-06-2007, 04:29 PM The team sent you the decals didn't they? Kevin KevinBahr 09-06-2007, 04:50 PM After I was all done with the body, wings, and tail tank, I sent everything over to their decal shop and they sized everything according to the stuff I sent. Then then sent everything back and I applied it. It was pretty cool. Later that year I got to meet the owner of the car and show him mine and he was pretty excited. Kevin hopper 12-09-2007, 08:08 PM It's a little more work than 10th scale!!!!!! big maestro 12-09-2007, 08:21 PM A shot of some of my cars while moving into my new shop. http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/500/medium/100_2193.jpg 6victor6 12-09-2007, 10:18 PM A shot of some of my cars while moving into my new shop. http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/500/medium/100_2193.jpg Just 'some' of them? jeffdavis38 12-10-2007, 01:05 AM You can't hide money. LOL willyplankhead 12-10-2007, 07:49 PM It's a little more work than 10th scale!!!!!!NAAAAAAAAA! the bigger bodys are easier for me i have did many bodys more 10th scale 3 1/4 scale all of mine are all paint no stickers hopper 12-10-2007, 11:19 PM Paint isn't the hard part----masking and stickering is the hard part! i make my own stickers. doing these two color stickers in reverse (for the inside) is tough! Tim Mc 12-10-2007, 11:40 PM How well does the chrome paint hold up? I'm looking to paint a tuck body in the same scheme as Bobby Hamilton's 18 team truck. Wasn't really a fan but the truck looks nice. hopper 12-11-2007, 12:21 AM I have had no problems. Two KEY things---make sure the body is clean and use a couple of light coats. If you put it on thick, it will flake. I have used it on 10th scale with no problems. I back it with regular old pactra spray paint. (indy silver works better than the recommended black) a friend backed his with water based paint, as spaztix recommends. He hit the wall once and half the paint fell off the car! So use the pactra spray. Chance62 12-11-2007, 01:26 AM what kind of chrome paint do you use? How do you even post pics on here? Tommygun43 12-12-2007, 02:00 AM Chance....go to "Photo Album" at the top left...go to "Upload Photos" on the right. Find the pic you want to upload on your computer and upload it. Once that is done get the url for your image by right clicking on your picture and clicking on "properties". Click on the yellow "insert image" icon in when you go to post and your done. It sounds alot more difficult than it is. bg77 12-12-2007, 03:10 AM http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/500/medium/100_1115.JPG Chance62 12-12-2007, 08:00 PM http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/510/thumbs/DSCN0280.JPG From Super Nats in Vegas.
