The race will be the 22nd. open at 9am for practice sat morning. it will be a throphy race best 2 out of three qual. points into the mains. racing will start at 1pm which should put the mains under the lights. cost will be $20 for the first class and $15 for any after that. novice will race free w/paid entery. ya lipos are good to go in mod classes, ohh yaaa always run the oval the night before. bring back jr. and the winged sprinter!

We will be there Guys!! The boy really liked running oval with the sprint car.I will probally just run my mini again, or see if I can scrape up another sprint body for my buggy.

hey guys My son and I are bring down a couple people with us,1 veteran(Conan Honeck) and another freind thats a newb to electric, We need to know if a roar membership is required to run this race so these fellas know how much loot to bring with them.

Thanks for the info and the link to the ftms site. The link is especially helpfull since we are probally going to run the FTMS next year.I'm liking the rules . especially the one about no sposored(chassis) drivers in stock class since my 11 year olds only sponsor is me and his allowance( which = me). its been kinda discouraging for him to be running with the A buggy guys in MARS this year, but like I told him its made him a better driver.he's staying within a lap of the leaders now, and usually creppin right up my tail end . I dont think any of us will be running the Novice class, even the guy thats comming that is new to electric has about 8 years bashing nitro under his belt, so its not like he can't drive , he's just never raced before. I am glad his first race will be @ stateline just because you guys run a very fun program down there.

Hershey,Didnt say there was , I just said I like the fact that that rule is there in the FTMS.I said its been kinda rough on the boy running with a main guys, thats all.

didnt mean for it to sound like I was implying that there was, sorry hershey.I would just like to see more people for my boy to run with other than the guys that would be in the A even if there were 3 heats of stock buggy, thats all.

Yes, a chance to do good. Not to mention a factory sponsored driver in a stock class at a mars race would be like you or I running in the novice class, no contest. man I cant wait to get down there and run some oval next friday before the ELS. No mini this time guys, I picked up an EDM body for my buggy so I will be running that, and of course the boy will be running his sprint body. I was gonna bring down my 1/8 electric for oval, but no time to get it finished up.

Yes 2wd fronts for losixxx, on the brushes, just standard replacements for what comes in the fantom(monster stock) stock motors.also a new stock motor, monster stock, mvp, etc. basically anything stock, went to rebuild the one I was going to run and the bushings are wasted, so I need a new can set-up. Thanks for the hook-up. Will you guys be there fri. night or sat. morning?

Plan on being there Friday evening for the oval racing. Have some Lightspeed stock motors, CO27 pro and Monster stock.
