I just received my Team Kwik K19 factory motor today (it's a tuned Komodo Dragon), and I'm extremely impressed by the performance.
When I was looking around for a more powerful motor to clear the triple at the track (I had previously used only stock motors), while staying within controllable speed and within the boundries of my esc, I had trouble finding information about the actual dyno results of spec motors, so I thought I'd post that information here for any prospective buyers to see. My local hobby store doesn't carry many motors, so I couldn't compare the stats of different spec motors, and the track I go to goes out of stock of these motors quickly, so the only resource I had to find info on spec motors was my computer. Kind of pointless, I know, but people new to the spec class will hopefully benefit.
Constant voltage: 7.00 v
RPM..........Torque.......Watts.......Efficeincy.. ...Amerage
30136........4.5............101..........71....... ........20.0
29566........5.2............115..........74....... ........22.0
28088........6.8............141..........77....... ........26.0
27452........7.5............153..........78....... ........27.9
26666........8.3............165..........78....... ........30.1
25800........9.2............176..........78....... ........32.0
Hopefully this will give new hobbiests some idea of what type of performance to expect from this class of motor. (the motor is tuned for offroad, btw)
