We are planning on trying to make it out for opening day. I was thinking your track was further away from me than 270 miles. Are there any cheap hotels near the track? i'm thinking we could just leave early sat. morning and just stay sat night.

What tires work at your track for 2wd, truck, 8th scale? Are the open classes bigger in attendence than the stock classes?

+1

We allowed the brushless 13.5 in the Stock/Spec class at our outdoor track and a lot more people got involved in that class. People that were not interested in the motor maintenance and voodoo.

Thanks for the input.
Last season we averaged 210 entries per race day with about 40-50 in stock truck. Usually 2-3 heats of stock buggy.

We will keep it as it is this season and take a look at it again next year.

What type of turn-out do you expect to see in 4wd buggy? Also what seems to be a good starting point for tires and what is a good brushless motor for the TC3-0?

The Mini Open class continued to grow last season.
This season, we actually have picked up a sponsor for that class.

The owner of the site wants to give out prizes to the TQ and possibly more of each race.
RC18T and B, Half Eight, Vendetta are popular vehicles

Doug - have you ran the track before?

I was up a few times and last year was the best time.

Dan and the guys put on a very nice program with the track, organizing, food and heat!

The time I was there the crowd was large and walked away with a few raffle items. :)

If you are heading up sometime fill me in and maybe I can ride up with you and throw some gas money at ya.

You would like running the 1/8 electric with them - that was a good show!

I had an excellent time. Dan and the guys put on a great program. It was fun to race with all the electric 1/8th cars. I like running on dirt instead of clay too. I will try to make it out some time this winter.
Keep up the good work.
