What are the differences in these 2 sets? I know there had been some sort of problem in the original release, but is the content actually the same in the two versions? I want the set, but for a difference of about $30 I am inclined to take my chances with the first release over the second, unless there is a big difference in content between them.


1) Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition (Superman - The Movie/ Superman II/ Superman II - The Richard Donner Cut/ Superman III/ Superman IV - The Quest for Peace/ Returns) (2007 Corrected Edition) (1978)

2) Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition (Superman - The Movie/ Superman II/ Superman II - The Richard Donner Cut/ Superman III/ Superman IV - The Quest for Peace/ Returns) (1978)

The content is about the same between the sets. I know the first release was missing the original English Dolby 2.0 surround soundtrack mix on the Superman - The Movie disc, and Superman III was missing some extras. Everything else was the same, I believe.

Yeah, the S3 was actually the original DVD version. Warner had sent the wrong ones. And disc 2 of the first Superman was missing the original 2.0 mix. I got replacements from them.

If there's an set where S-III and IV are missing, that's the one I want.
