Beero 08-25-2007, 07:51 AM mod. I know mario is chomping at the bit to come back inside and race. Carpet Assasin 08-25-2007, 04:08 PM CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP!!! Im outside all day everyday in the summer working... So bring on the indoor high banks! Joel I think I might run stock, since you have beat me at the last 2 nats. I think I will just help you out! I cant wheel anymore... LOL Beero 08-26-2007, 04:13 AM oh shut the &*#% up. quit your crying and try working on your car instead of going through 3 different back up cars all set up the same way. love ya buuuudy. habalalalalalalalalaallaabababbabalallala Carpet Assasin 08-26-2007, 01:51 PM Haha, you kill me jizzy. Yeah im in for some mod this winter! Cant wait to see the gang and hang out at Saltyville! frank p. 08-26-2007, 06:28 PM whats up guys hey anybody want to run brushless lipo class? i tell ya what brushless/lipo are the way to go we been running them at the offroad track and you can run all day on one pack Rick Liehr 08-26-2007, 06:33 PM Hey guys does anybody know this Frank P. guy? me21 08-26-2007, 07:45 PM Something like a Lipo 13.5 ? frank p. 08-26-2007, 09:13 PM Ricky! i been playin in the dirt, gettin hooked on it 2! lol 3200 with a 21.5 -cot body? arcor rules? i dunno but since lipos i dunno if i ever want to run a nimh cell agian Beero 08-26-2007, 11:38 PM I would not mind running the lipo packs, or brushless even. But I wanna stick with a mod type class. ICEMAN96 08-28-2007, 02:10 PM ID LIKE TO SEE A BRUSHLESS CLASS IN THE MID 50's[55 LAPS].I THINK 13.5 OR 17.5 BRUSHLESS WITH ANY NIMH BATTERY UP TO 4200.WITH A TRUCK OR C.O.T. BODY. frank p. 08-29-2007, 09:17 PM joel run a 3.5 with a orion 4800 lipo ewww thatda be sick! Beero 08-30-2007, 02:10 AM true. but I'm planning on going to the birds, and maybe the oval masters, so I don't wanna invest a lot of money in something I'm not going to be running at two huge races this year. But, given the recent history of recent batteries, I think that the lipo's are the wave of the future. nunzio738 08-30-2007, 08:27 PM Ok would like to know what everyone will run for brushless and what to get....Thinking about racing again, but only brushless. What will be the good brushless system to get if I get back into it??? PLus do I need to upgrade my Turbo's or get different charger?? Remeber I am old and slow...now I know how Gary Richmond felt.....lol Beero 08-30-2007, 11:43 PM i'm pretty sure the turbos will not work with lipo packs. ACE 08-31-2007, 01:28 AM they will for $50 plus shipping ICEMAN96 09-01-2007, 06:26 PM Anyone Interested In A 17.5 Brushless Class With Nimh Batteries...it Would Be Stock Speeds Without Having To Work On The Motor Giving You More Chassis Tuning Time And Track Time. Beero 09-02-2007, 12:51 AM You dont need much tuning on a motor in stock, or even 19turn for that matter. A fast motor will not make a ineffcient car fast. Even in mod, motor will only go so far. me21 09-02-2007, 05:06 PM So what is everone going to run, Trying to get ready to get some stuff, I wouldn't mind running that Arcor 21.5 COT LIPO CLass? Who else is in, ohiorcracer 09-02-2007, 06:57 PM 4300 w\ lipo class Beero 09-02-2007, 11:34 PM honestly I think we should run what we did last year for the first couple weeks until we get a better idea of what everyone wants to run. frank p. 09-03-2007, 10:04 AM im up for a lipo -brushless class, i wont buy anymore IB's Carpet Assasin 09-03-2007, 11:58 AM I think we should have a night once a month where we all run the same class. Like we did a few years ago with stock. Maybe not mod cause not everyone has the sticks but, stock 19T. Something like that? Im not looking forward to this 19 different class season...... Mario me21 09-03-2007, 04:22 PM I'm not running 19T this year, Either brushed stock, or something brushless ICEMAN96 09-03-2007, 04:38 PM Id Be In For The 21.5 Lipo/brushless With The C.o.t. Body.but It Will Depend On The Speeds Im Not Ready For 65 Lap Races.... ICEMAN96 09-03-2007, 04:40 PM Lipo's Are The Ticket,it's Just Finding A Brushless Motor To Run About Stock Lap Times frank p. 09-03-2007, 06:16 PM it will be a little faster than stock speeds. this class in my opinion is about awesome 1- budget friendly 2- everybody is basicly on the same equipment- motor-body-cell, so its really gonna come down to setup and driving after running the lipo's i would seriously rather not run oval than to ever have to buy IB's agian! I have been running offroad and 1 pack stays in the car all night with just a few peaks on it ,for the past month that includes running once a week of practice and my times have not fell off at all, i dunno you will have to find out for yourself if there not abused and overcharged they are a safe cell me21 09-05-2007, 09:12 PM Just another crazy idea, What about Lipo's with a Stock motor? erock1331 09-06-2007, 12:39 PM Just another crazy idea, What about Lipo's with a Stock motor? wouldnt that equal mod speeds ? you are talking 2.5 more volts than 4 cell racing with LIPO me21 09-06-2007, 03:50 PM wouldnt that equal mod speeds ? you are talking 2.5 more volts than 4 cell racing with LIPO I would guess around 65ish laps ICEMAN96 09-06-2007, 08:14 PM I Agree With Beero We Should Stick To Last Years Classes Till Everyone Gets There Ducks In A Row[about 2 Weeks].we Don't Wan't 50 People Showing Up With 50 Different [classes]combinations Of Batteries/motor,,and Bodies. me21 09-06-2007, 09:02 PM Ricky, Adam, Mario, Joel, Would you guys let me run brushless mod with you guys? Beero 09-07-2007, 12:23 AM I'll have a sit down with the other mafia dons and see how the vote goes. Carpet Assasin 09-08-2007, 09:35 AM Who ever said you were in the mafia? Buuuuuudy. Gotta have some Italian in ya to be in... LOL erock1331 09-08-2007, 09:47 AM Who ever said you were in the mafia? Buuuuuudy. Gotta have some Italian in ya to be in... LOL Last episode i watched, Beero was in and the Amish Anchor was out. Totally based on recent big race results of course. JeffPatch29 09-08-2007, 10:06 AM Careful what you say Mario, Joel might take that as an offer.  Beero 09-08-2007, 03:24 PM Last episode i watched, Beero was in and the Amish Anchor was out. Totally based on recent big race results of course. The Amish Anchor, thats great. lol Mar, if I need a little Italian in me I know I can ask you. buuuuuudy Carpet Assasin 09-09-2007, 12:36 PM Oh boy, this is not going in the right direction... LOL Yeah ole Jizzy has 2 up on me in recent nats performance's but, Im proud of the newest mod racer. He sure has come a long way!! So.... what we doing for this mod class? me21 09-09-2007, 01:15 PM Are you guys going to run Mod right away? erock1331 09-09-2007, 06:12 PM Yeah ole Jizzy has 2 up on me in recent nats performance's but, Im proud of the newest mod racer. He sure has come a long way!! Mar, just think, this season he'll be on the cell with his pit chief in the sky. I hope he's got local calling to Cali Carpet Assasin 09-09-2007, 09:39 PM Dont worry E, He kissed his butt so much at the worlds race, Joel has a personal calling card for unlimited minutes! Beero 09-09-2007, 10:33 PM ha....ha....so funny. I'm using the local minutes and calling A-martin. erock1331 09-10-2007, 12:08 PM ha....ha....so funny. I'm using the local minutes and calling A-martin. not a bad option although now that he sold out he wont even take my calls anymore. he's pullin a Rob Meisch Beero 09-10-2007, 02:55 PM nice, but I can always go visit him at the bar. erock1331 09-13-2007, 09:29 PM nice, but I can always go visit him at the bar. yeah, tried that at my bachelor party and dont remember talking to him, probably shoudlnt have done another shot. lol erock1331 09-13-2007, 09:34 PM I Agree With Beero We Should Stick To Last Years Classes Till Everyone Gets There Ducks In A Row[about 2 Weeks].we Don't Wan't 50 People Showing Up With 50 Different [classes]combinations Of Batteries/motor,,and Bodies. If you want good class counts maybe try a structure like this: Sportsman Lipo/BL: Any pancar chassis Standard LIPO pack (Arcor rules) COT body only with COT wing Novak 17.5 motor Any spec tire After you reach a certain lap level determined (say 58 laps or something like that) then its an automatic move to a: Pro Lipo BL class: Any pancar chassis Standard Lipo pack Any body, any wing Novak 17.5 motor Any tire Then once a year throw everybody into the same class and have a Lipo/BL shootout. ICEMAN96 09-14-2007, 05:24 PM Talked To Walt Today He Didn't Know When He Might Start Inside Racing. me21 09-14-2007, 05:39 PM Talked To Walt Today He Didn't Know When He Might Start Inside Racing. Hopefully not to long, I thought usally the first week of Oct. ICEMAN96 09-14-2007, 05:42 PM He Said He Had Alot Of Stuff To Fix And Alot Going On.i Don't Know We'll Wait And See When. Beero 09-15-2007, 12:07 AM second weekend of october sounds good to me. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
