They ran nitro a few years back. I'm sure if you call Ed and bring enough to run a class he would run it.
I don't know what the classes are going to be, I have not seen a flyer yet. Normally 6 cell stock and 4 cell 19 turn.
This is a Oval ONLY day of racing, so it should be alot of FUN.....
I heard that they were going to run 1/8 scale late models on the oval. Some of the Pensacola and Mobile racers are bringing their 1/10 latemodels to run. Sounds like Ed will run anything on the oval that shows up so give him a call and bring those nitro pancars. I will be there on saturday for a little practice too.

What condidtion is the Oval in? I have heard it is very bumpy now.
What's the scoop?
The track is a little bumpy in places but the electric pancars still get around there good. Just raise the chasis up and you will be fine. The track has a lot of banking and is a blast to race on. I've been going over there for the past 4 or 5 years for the oval races and it is some of the most intense racing I've done.

I have raced on it many many times.
Waaaayyyyy back when SCE-1700's were the mod battery.
We had to get the car up in the air then too. If I remember correctly we ran 4-Silver "R" tires and let 'em rip!!
Me and Baader had a couple of 4-ball cars that really ran good there. Ahhhh those were the days.

No, 4 silvers don't work anymore, the track doesn't have the traction it once had. It's still a super fast, very fun track to drive. Here is the regional 4 cell 19 turn A-Main race from 2006:

Man that is still a big ol' track.
If I remember it is about 440' in the groove.
