i'm having problems with the wiring to charge my battery . Can someone please educate me on where the wire from the atl. that comes from under the flywheel goes hooked up to in order to keep my battery charged, or does someone have a standard wiring diagram for riding mowers.

if its an MTD the wiring is pretty standard, craftsman and so on it different. There should be a plug or something for it to go into

yes it's mtd, there is no plug i built this mower from the frame up so i basically built it from scratch, just ran into that one little problem with the alt. wiring.

well there is a wire that plugs into the wire on the alternator, you might have missed a wired when you were taking off the wiring harness

another thing also, is the wiring harness for a techumseh engine and you have a briggs on it? Or Vice Versa?
