View Full Version : Found a couple more GM's
69camaro 08-23-2007, 11:53 AM Took a half day off work and went to TRUS around 11:00AM
Found these 2 sitting at the front of the pegs right next to each other. They both have packaging errors. The Chrome Green Machine sign is missing from one and the other has the Auction Block sign instead of the Green Machine.

CTWLSMIKE 08-23-2007, 12:26 PM Wow congrats on the finds. Very lucky to find two GMs let alone two of the same car, has to be pretty tough odds on that one.

is that why a couple of these cars don't have #'s on the base?
I was wondering that as I was looking through them at a local target and noticed nothing on base, i was afraid they stopped doing it!

Larry Horse 08-24-2007, 08:38 AM Are the ones with the auction block banner really errors?
lightningprone 08-24-2007, 07:44 PM Gadzooks n' Egads!!!
I managed to find the GM 67' Corvette 427/390 Coupe from the
Barrett Jackson series last week. Several weeks before that
I found the GM '68 Impala Fastback from the very same series.
Its a bit depressing that I now only find a small fraction of the chase
cars that I used to - no matter what the brand name is. What I used
to find in a week now takes me months to find.
The thrill of the hunt just isn't what it used to be. There is less
product out in the wilds of the 'Dustbowl for Diecasts' . . .
It seems to me that for quite a while now that THs are now harder
to find than WLs or GMs.
