Jeff C had a special vintage T-jet made that he will have on hand at the show this year. For you Mopar fans this will be a big treat. Jeff should be able to post pictures today. For those keeping count on show slot exclusives:

Ford Dinner Slot Car X-Traction.
Event car X-Traction by AutoWorld
Javelin slot body by Mr. Coney
X-Traction Mopar by Slot Car Johnnies
T-jet Charger by MotorCity Toyz

Well done all!

Thanks for listing the two images of the AutoFest Tjet Charger (with chassis) slot car Mac....I was sleepin at the wheel ... LOL.

Here is another image that shows the sample car that I toyed with (no logo with White Tires - Chrome wheels), the finished regular car (with logo) - just 100 made and then the White Fest version (White Tires and Wheels) just 8 were made. Image was too big to insert but I will fix later as I am on the road and using my laptop.

The regular version will be numbered 000/100 on special label that matching the cars colors. Cars numbered from 000/100 to 007/100 will be randomly inserted with the other numbered cars and given out during the two days of AutoFest - 4 for each day. I mixed up the cars in a pile and just started putting them into each box - not knowing where a certain number might be.

As customers make purchases of $50 or more, I will grab a car out the box and put it into your bag (no looking at the car until you go way..LOL). I have set the limit at (1) car per person. I will only hand out 50 per day. Once the first 50 cars are gone on Friday, they are gone! This way if you miss out or can not attend until Saturday, you will still have a chance to get one.

Now, why do it this way? Well, the (4) lucky persons each day that get the 000/100 thur 007/100 will each win (1) of the White Fest versions of the Tjet Dodge Charger slot car and there names will be put into a drawing for the 1:32 Carrera Richard Petty slot car set valued at $279.00! If you are lucky enough to get one of these, you will need to fill out a form and that will be put into envelope and sealed. I will have someone else (other than me) draw the winning envelope on Saturday, around 12 noon.

In case you don't win the first drawing, Carrera sent me 500 retail catalogs to hand out and inside (100) of them will be a white ticket for another drawing for a 1:32 Carrera Digital slot car set. All you have to do to get a catalog is make a purchase $10 purchase from Motor City Toyz. That is it! This set retails for $349.00! I will add images as soon as I can!

I also had some real nice embroidered caps made up with the same logo as our AutoFest slot car....They are extra nice - FITTED - caps, in Black, 6 panel, with a two color embroidered AutoFest logo on the front and our web site logo on the back. I only had 48 caps produced but if they sell out, I will be glad to take orders for those that want them. Come by and see them!

Now, if your into die cast cars, be sure to stop by as I will be bringing some older JL die cast and will be giving away (randomly) a few older JL White Lightning cars too! How about some vintage JL/Chevy Bowtie display cases? I have them too! Looking for Indy pace car sets? How about Corvette Anniversary cars? I have will have a great selection of cars for $1.00 each.

So, when you get to the AutoFest on Friday or Saturday, don't stand around and talk....you better come visit me and make a purchase so you have a chance at getting in on the two drawings.

My tables numbers are 17 - 21.

Thanks for all your support! This has been a lot of fun!

PS Be sure to print this out and bring a copy to the show - I will give a 10% discount to each HobbyTalk forum member that does! Don't forget - print it now.

Here's my thoughts on this. I'm betting that this car could in itself retail for 15 20.00 so in reality if you had to BUY it outright you are really only spending 30.00 to get it. The white's will probably fetch three digits easy on e-bay so 8 people are getting all their stuff for free (if they sold it). Figure in the Carrera set possibility and some people are walking out lottery winners!

Wow. Wow. WOW!

Mark,

I also offered a 10% discount to HobbyTalk Forum Members that print out my thread and bring it in to the show. I have had great results doing this in the past for other shows and for those of you that have been dealing with me for awhile, you know that I actually give more off when possible.
