Has anyone had any experience with this esc? i heard that it shutts itself off (automatic thermal shut-off) with a 12 turn motor. anyone else experience this? what about a 13 turn motor? the price can't be beat (40 bucks), and i need to step up my motor from my Monster Horsepower, because I can't clear some of the jumps at the track, and if i want to race i definately need more power.

I used one to get my sons stampede working and i think i had a 15turn in it and it didn,t make it very far before it shut down. It's a pretty cheap esc. You would be better to find a used novak, something like a GT7 which has unlimited motor capacity or a fusion which is good down to 12 turns but neither of them have reverse. You should be able to run accross one on ebay for 40-50 in nice shape.

yeah that's been my plan for a while, to get a gt7 off ebay. just checking out the options.
