B mullins 09-14-2007, 11:03 AM I heard that. I also heard that it was setup by some national champion so I guess I will have to get mine going alot better than last year, just to keep up.
So wheres that speedpunk at, I would have thought that he would have jumped on here by now..Guess he is still trying to become a professional paintballer
B mullins 09-20-2007, 05:54 PM Is the 6th going to a full race day or just test and tune? Also, are we falling the rules to the T or we still racing 5 mins? Either way is cool just thougt I would ask..

philb1 09-22-2007, 07:47 AM Yes, Tim wants the car!
Luckily S'punk made a few outdoor races to keep him from being Captain of Purse&Skirt Racing Team (Stan,Ben & Batman) but we'll see what is up when we hit the rug.

We will run a full raceday on the 6th. As for the race time, I'll see what everyone wants to do. I personally like 5 minutes qualifiers and a 100 lap main but if everyone wants to use the BRL for the season I'm good with it. Don't forget, we get to practice for the BRL finals for the whole season.
Yes, I'd like to get that CW from you, we can work something you.
Only two more weeks until we race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Jim Carson
I would think that 13.5 will be the biggest with 10.5 not far behind. I'd say the 17.5 may build over the season but it will start slow.
That's probably a good idea Jim, if anyone is checking in here, post what class or classes you will be running so we have a good idea before we get started.
Tim Ski
When I get to head that way, I'll be running 13.5 and maybe the Master's truck class, who knows that could be fun.
SDL98 09-24-2007, 10:36 PM I probably won't get out there til Nov but will run 13.5 and my new slider. What exactly are the rules for the slider.
Steve Lawson
HobbyPLEX 09-24-2007, 10:42 PM I forgot to add in my last post that I will be running 13.5 this season. I'll actually have a car of my own, well, kind of my own. ;)

Basically box stock, only Losi hop-ups, IB1200 or 1400s and you can bind it any other 2.4Ghz transmitter. We'll be doing testing as the season goes on to see any other variances from stock will be allowed. (ie: better turnbuckles/linkages, different gearing)

SDL98 09-24-2007, 11:18 PM Thanks Tim
Batman 09-26-2007, 05:05 PM 10.5 or 13.5
B mullins 09-26-2007, 07:30 PM 13.5 for me at first maybe 17.5 if can get this solid to work
FroBoy 09-26-2007, 11:01 PM So, after all this work to the offroad track maybe I can borrow a car and rub somebody's fender?

You have a ride for the Vinton BRL....Just pick a class.
FroBoy 09-26-2007, 11:32 PM 13.5 baby! And the race is on my birthday!
lumberjak 09-27-2007, 01:35 PM It's 17.5 for me, with 13.5 as a provisional. I'd love to run a masters class if you think I qualify. FYI, I just got my new glasses, maybe I'll be able to see you rocket by me.
HobbyPLEX 10-04-2007, 05:51 PM Track is ready to go, RACING SATURDAY!!!!!

Batman 10-20-2007, 08:46 PM Hey Tim I was wondering for the 2 day november race if we can run are 17.5 lipo with the 10.5 4 cell cars.
RACER185 10-20-2007, 10:31 PM Batman
Your car is running good enough now that you could run those old wornout last year batts and still do ok.
philb1 10-21-2007, 09:15 AM B's car stayed together for 5 min, now to get it even faster!
Batman's Lipo is plenty quick!
Craig and Jim's Sliders are both quick!
now I have to get my 3 cars quicker
not to mention the "love meter"
RACER185 10-22-2007, 11:55 PM Phil
Thanks for the kind comment, however my slider ran like it was dragging a gigantic anchor behind it last week. Great thing about racing there is always next time.
Jim

FroBoy 10-29-2007, 12:46 AM Just wanted to say that there was a real buzz at the track on Saturday. It felt good to see everyone getting ready for the races and when I had a chance to watch it looked like everyone was having a great time.
philb1 10-29-2007, 06:40 AM Great job by the Captain not laying a bumper on my 13.5 when I was loooooose in front of him, but he has practiced with that
Lipo guys were up and running, alternative to the recent battery drama
B mullins 10-29-2007, 07:04 AM hey Tim looks like I need the car back in order to stay on the racing program, with the Captain and Speedy. J/k
