Picked this set up at the local HW Meeting. Everything is complete and still banded inside the box except for the cars. Can anybody tell me anything about this set? What cars were in it ,etc. It says 1 of 2000 set B on the box lid.

I forget which color was Set B...I will see if I can find out and I will post here

Rob

Oh, and it was made by Playing Mantis, not Topper in 95 or 96 I believe

Thanks Mac. I will have to try and round up the cars for it. The box did say 1996 on it.

Those are cool sets. Too bad the cars ended up bringing in more $$$ then the set, but fun for the kids to play. I bought one of the LM1000 sets many years ago.

These were the 2 BP's that came in my Topper Indy set, one with the Guarantee still stapled to it. Both cars are 1969 castings with 1970 tires (post redline).
