This is NOT a hand-out motor event.

Race Fees:
1st Class - $25
2nd Class - $10
3rd+ Class - FREE

Doors Open at 6:30 AM.
Controlled Practice from 8 AM - 11 AM.
Sign ups close at 11 AM.
Driver's Meeting at 11:30 AM.
First Heat is 12 NOON SHARP!

Extended Hours Saturday 9/8 from 10AM to 10PM.

Trophies to the top 3 of each class and TQ Awards.

Drawing for a Free Practice/Race Pass to be used at a future date. (All racers are eligible for this drawing.)

OK, we had no idea! We thought it was too hard on Chad to be there so we've been staying quiet!!

Well it is hard on him, but he would BE HONORED to call a race when you need it - like he said just to give you a break during a few rounds would be awesome. It was always his favorite part. He misses the track & everyone so much but isnt ready to start racing yet (health wise he is not up to speed enough yet).

Def keep him in mind for some announcing he would love it...and after all the times Kim's covered my butt with the various stuff like food,race prizes etc I owe you guys too, so I would be glad to lend a hand however you'all need me...

Dont ever hesitate to call us or ask for anything - we are big kids - we will tell you if its too much...I think Chad getting on here and posting & mingling might be hard, but his heart is all in the racers & races...so you can count on him for sure!

There will be a few from the great north ( Plattsburgh NY ) making the trip. Will the class rules remain the same ? ie.. chassis height 5mm for1/10 ? It's not a big issue but i will adjust to it before i arrive at the track.

This question has come up a few times....Rules remain as ROAR rules.....the Chassis Height rule is being put aside for the STOCKIFIED. The MAIN things I'm going to be looking for is Body Height, Weight and Motor inspections. and I dont mean teching the arms for everyone. There will be a motor inspection but unless reasons come up I'd like to keep it as a IN CAR inspection. there will be RANDOM tech inspection of cars of MY choice threw out the day of Quilifing. Than come time for the mains, the tech gets technical.

what is the sk car that every one runs there like to get one for a sec class

mike, the kskt by r/k racing is a good choice.ive run one only twice there and have been as fast as the best there right out of the box.very good customer service also.

Chad isnt well again - back in the hospital..but should be a short stay and home next week... we will see.

By the way Fred is doing pretty well everyone! Thanks for all the emails, etc. He was in the hospital for 2 or 3 days, and following up with doc's etc. He had a pretty serious injury but you all know Fred he goes with the flow and works thru the pain... He is doing okay!!!!

Im absolutely EXHAUSTED!!! So Im off to bed. I hope everyone is well - looking forward to STOCKIFIED!!!! Even if you dont need my help I will be visiting!!!!!! Maybe I will bake cookies or something....or plan a trip for some scorpion bowls after??? HMMMM lol

I just realized this race is same day as SOS RACE! 365 days in the year and they are on the same day? Now I have to figure out haw to be in 2 places the same day

bob the sos is not the same day but it is tuff for other tracks to have big races when turn 4 has a big race once a month and one month has two .

Bob, I spent allot of time trying to get the NEOT at Turn 4. So I have a list of allot of New England tracks race dates. Will you and Rick be at Turn 4 this weekend?

I was there two weeks in a row and had noone to run with. Everyoner is running SK 13.5
I was going to Radical Rick's this thursday because of that. My first choice is to go to Turn 4 if there's more than one other guy to run against.

I'm in for Friday. Let me know if that works for you Rick, Sunday is out for me.

Mike our season opens on the 9th so I am up in the air .

It is still really early in the season and although we haven't seen too many brushed SKs on Sundays (in the 3 weeks we've been open), we fully expect SK to have a brushed class as well as a brushless class as the season gets going. In fact, we had 2 brushed SKs here tonight practicing.

I would like to see a 13.5 pan car at the banks. anyone down for that?

i will be if and when i come up or 10.5 what ever is bigger or stock if thats what the guys are running but its not looking so good for trips up there this year..

All depends on my schedule, how early I get done...

Chad may be there, its really dependant on his health at this point. As I said on the thread for general track....He just got home from the hospital...so we need to see if he is up to it; we all know HE WANTS TO BE THERE, but IF he can is hard to say right now...

FYI...For anyone coming from out of town and looking for an affordable means of staying for the weekend and like camping, the Mineral Springs Campground in Stafford Springs can't be beat! $25-$35/night depending on what you like (bare tent site or RV site with water/electric/sewer) and they have rental cabins (with electricity but no bathroom) for $60/nt. Mike and I have stayed there and it'll be our convenient home-away-from-home until their season closes in mid-October. They are also very pet-friendly! :)
